Those who control the past control the future; those who control the present control the past.” – George Orwell “1984”.
The First World War was the crucible of the modern world, and its effects – economically, politically, culturally, are still very much with us, as are seeing now in the Middle East, for example. Interest in the First World War continues to grow apace, as people realise what it meant and what came out of it. The UK government and the instruments of the Establishment are spending a minimum of £50 million of our money to tell the British people a story about the war. The telling of that story, which has already begun, will be to fix in the minds of the nation a view of the past and a view of the future that is based on that view of the past. We will need to be able to see through that concocted view and understand how the distorted image of the First World War and of the 20th century that followed it will be exploited to get us to support a very particular view of our country.
The prelude to the war began in Libya in 1911. 20 years ago, British elite circles forecast a global conflict that would get going 100 years later, in 2011. Right on cue came the so-called “Arab Spring” in 2011….. This “global conflict” will be the consequence of the will to power that emerged in full clarity between 1911 and 1919. In 1914, mind-controlled by the media of the day, hundreds of thousands of Britons went off to fight and die for an Empire that then controlled 1/4 of the world. For the people of this country in the 21st century, the question will be: what kind of country do we want this to become? Will we fall for the lies about the past that will be used to frame the lies about the future? It’s not only 911 truth we need, but 1911 truth and 2011 truth.” We had three world wars in the 20th century, beginning in 1914. If more of us don’t become aware of the elite’s plans, they’ll drive us into their world war of the 21st century, as they did in 1914-89.
